STAFF

My name is Sarah Cunningham and I have had the extraordinary opportunity of working with MayaWorks as the Product Manager for over three years.   I work overseeing our Distribution Center operations as well as working directly with our amazing volunteers, the dedicated staff, and our talented artisan partners; all of whom have taught me so much both professionally as well as in my personal life.  I graduated with a degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies and lived in Guatemala for one year prior to my work with MayaWorks.
My name is Naomi Czerwinskyj. As the Customer Service Associate, I work directly with volunteers, marketing, and the distribution of our beautiful products. My interests are in Latin American Studies, Spanish, and women's issues so I am drawn to the hands-on approach MayaWorks employs in making the lives of Mayan artisans economically sustainable.
My name is Deyci Chali Juchuña and my job is General Assistant in Guatemala.  I provide help and support in all the needs at the office. I like my job, because from it, I can help the people from my community.
My name is Kathleen Morkert and I have been fortunate to be the Executive Director of MayaWorks since 2000.  Watching the MayaWorks weaving become beautiful, strong and dynamic over the past years has been a joy.  Working with our partners in Guatemala has enriched my life beyond words.  Before coming to MayaWorks I spent over 25 years in the non-profit world, mostly in health care administration.  Bringing those experiences and skills to MayaWorks has been the highlight of my career.
My name is Mirian Etelvina Otzín.  I have worked at MayaWorks for 10 years. Currently I am the Coordinator here in Guatemala. MayaWorks is part of my life and I enjoy working in this organization. During this time I have had challenges but as a person and as a woman they have made me stronger and I am happy to contribute in one way or the other to help women and men to find the opportunity to better their lives.
My name is Mirna Nineth Roquel and my job is in the production area. My responsibility is to sustain the production quality and to plan trainings for new products. Working at MayaWorks has giving me a beautiful experience in which I can see the women receiving the support directly for their job and in other programs. My job is very active but requires lot of responsibility and delicacy. Thanks to MayaWorks for this opportunity.
