MayaWorks is always looking for passionate individuals to help us continue our mission of creating economic development for artisans in Guatemala. See how you can help!
Hold a MayaWorks Consignment Sale
MayaWorks strives to interweave the lives of North Americans and Guatemalan artisans. For over 15 years MayaWorks volunteers have been creating work for our Maya artisan partners in Guatemala by holding consignment sales at their churches and synagogues, in their homes, schools, workplaces and in their communities. These sales not only support Maya artisans, they also increase awareness for fair trade and economic justice and provide socially conscious gift options for consumers. MayaWorks volunteers sell our fair trade products at a 15%-20% discounted consignment price which allows the volunteer to mark items up as a fundraiser for their own cause.
Becoming a MayaWorks volunteer seller is a simple and rewarding process. If you are interested in holding a MayaWorks consignment sale please Register Here. You will then be contacted with the next steps in the sales process. Questions? Call 312.243.8050 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
MayaWorks has volunteer internship opportunities in marketing, graphic design, fashion design and general business. We are always looking for dedicated and passionate students who want to learn more about fair trade and help us continue our mission.
